The system is particularly comprehensive this year, incorporating AI technology for risk prevention and establishing intensive on-site infrastructure.

AI-based preventive safety system: beat the heat with data 

What makes the system most notable is the AI-based warning system for heat-related illnesses. Before outdoor work begins, the AI analyzes temperature data from the worksite and the details of the outdoor work to assess the risk levels. If a risk is detected, the manager and responsible staff receive a warning sign. They can then take preventive measures, such as conducting pre-work inspections, scheduling breaks, or adjusting work schedules. These rapid and targeted actions enable proactive prevention before risky events occur.

On-site tailored support, from cooling vests to shelter bus

The company has also strengthened practical support for on-site workers. Those who work outdoors or in high temperatures are provided with essential cooling gear like fan-cooled jackets and neck coolers, alongside prepared first-aid kits to immediately respond to outbreaks of heat-related illness. Following last year, shelter buses at several spots on the worksite continue to run, allowing workers to take a break and stay cool at any time. 

Additionally, a system that allows workers to frequently check their own health status was introduced. Using biometric health kiosks installed on-site, workers can check key health indicators before and after work to manage their health.
