Various devices that use batteries each require different battery performance. To meet these requirements, the industry has predominantly chosen cylindrical batteries. Encased in a metal can, they deliver high output and stable performance even in environments with frequent changes, such as construction sites or outdoor workplaces.


SAMSUNG SDI applies low resistance technologies such as a tabless structure and graphite particle realignment to achieve high output and fast charging features that go beyond the inherent advantages of the cylindrical design.


The graphite particle realignment technology aligns graphite particles in a uniform direction and facilitates fast charging. By orienting the lithium-ion pathways in a single direction, it enables faster lithium-ion transport during charging.


SAMSUNG SDI produces cylindrical batteries in 18650* and 21700* sizes for power tools and garden tools.
